Wallace and Gromit Musical Marvels Review

Yesterday was a really great day. Not only did I start to feel like I was finally over the flu that’s been holding me down for well over a week, but I also had a brilliant afternoon out with my family at the Wallace and Gromit Musical Marvels show. The tickets were gifted by Carrot Productions but I haven’t been paid for my review and obviously all opinions are my own. This review is based on my own experience of visiting the show with my husband and son yesterday at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from this show, to be honest. I had…

Wallace and Gromit Musical Marvels Tour 2019 Preview

AD/GIFTED – This post is an advertisement for Carrot Productions and the Wallace and Gromit Musical Marvels Tour 2019. I have been promised tickets to one of the shows in exchange for writing about the tour and promoting it on my blog and social channels. All opinions are my own and anecdotes in this post are based on my real experience. I have not received any monetary compensation for this campaign. Wallace and Gromit have been a favourite of mine since I was a teenager. I remember when I was around 14 or 15 years old, I had the Wallace and Gromit game for Windows 95 based on The Wrong…

The A To Z Blogging Challenge: U is for Unicorn

Today I’m writing about U and this is the post I’ve been desperate to write about since the challenge started. As soon as I started thinking about what I wanted each letter to represent, I made a list of things starting with each letter of the alphabet that are on my wish list and this was at the top. Although, obviously, because it begins with U I had to shift it to near the bottom. Anyway, I digress. U is for Unicorn and I don’t actually want a unicorn because that would just be silly but there is a story behind this. My son Luke is at that age when…

A to Z Blogging Challenge: T is for Torquay

I still haven’t caught up with my A to Z Blogging Challenge posts but hopefully by the end of the month I will. Once again, I’m going to write today’s post and leave the two that I’ve missed until I have got time to write them. So long as I get them done by midnight on the 30th of April, I will have completed the challenge. So, today is T and T is for Torquay, which is a town on the south-west coast of England and is one of the towns on the English Riviera. When I was growing up, we went to Torquay every summer. That would be from…

A to Z Blogging Challenge: S is for Selfie With A Giraffe

Welcome back to my A to Z Blogging Challenge posts. I’ve fallen a little behind, but instead of trying to do the posts that I’ve missed, I’m writing the post that I was meant to write today anyway, which is S, and I’ll catch up later when I have time. So, today is S for Selfie With A Giraffe, which is one of the items close to the top of my wish list. If you’d like to read the rest of my posts, you can catch up by clicking on my index post, which is right here. I’ve always been a short person. I’m 4ft 10 (and a half) and…
