A to Z Blogging Challenge: G is for Gibraltar

I made it to week 2. Woohoo! And by the time you read this, I’ll be back from England and starting work on my travel blog and my last assignment for the academic year. Last year, I don’t think I got this far, so I’m really pleased with myself. Not only that, these posts are still scheduled and I didn’t fall behind at all yet and have to catch up. I’m writing this in March. I feel like I have already won this challenge. So, today I’m covering the letter G and what it represents on my wish list. G stands for Gibraltar, one of my favourite places in the…

A to Z Blogging Challenge: F is for Four Feet Ten

Ah, I made it to the end of the first week of the challenge! And what’s more, I had all of these posts scheduled. I actually wrote this one in March, so I feel really pleased with myself for being so organised. First, I suppose I should wish you a happy weekend. Secondly, I should thank you for sticking with me thus far. And finally, here’s my sixth A to Z Blogging Challenge Post. F is for Four Feet Ten. That might sound like it doesn’t fit with the wish list theme, but bear with me please. It does. Four Feet Ten would be the name of my petite fashion…

A to Z Blogging Challenge: E is for Electrolysis

It’s day 5 of the A to Z Blogging Challenge and after yesterday’s ode to Christmas, I’m now writing about a beauty treatment. Or is this a tech post? I honestly can’t tell. But if you’re interested in beauty tech, this could be the post for you. E is for electrolysis. The Background For those who don’t know, I struggled to eat solid food as a teenager. There was an extended period of time when I was on a liquid diet. I had countless people assume I was anorexic and who could blame them? All they saw was a teenage girl who wasn’t eating. They didn’t know the reasons why,…

A to Z Blogging Challenge: D is for Dark Nights and Fairy Lights

The first week of the A to Z Blogging Challenge is now almost up. After today, there will be two more posts and then a break for a standard review post. I have to say, I’m really enjoying writing about the things I daydream about and hopefully you are all enjoying reading them. If not, don’t worry. Normal service will resume on 1st May. Today, you get D for Dark Nights and Fairy Lights. Yes, you guessed it. It’s a Christmas blog post, but I already used C for Cyprus, so I had to be more specific and list what I love about Christmas. Dark nights and fairy lights conjure…

A to Z Blogging Challenge: C is for Cyprus

I’m now onto the third day of my A to Z Blogging Challenge. I’ve started scheduling posts from here on out for two reasons. Firstly, I have a meeting today that’s going to be emotionally challenging. It’s fully possible that the next couple of weeks are going to be spent going over this in my head, although I know I shouldn’t. That’s just what happens when you’re upset about something and you feel powerless. The other reason is that Luke is on spring break from school and we’re heading down to England on holiday. I’ll be keeping up to date with what other bloggers are writing but it’s going to…
